De innovatieve Bürkert open/dicht-klep van het type 3320 is de oplossing als het om blokkeertaken gaat in veeleisende gebruiksomstandigheden. De elektromotorische aandrijving van de klep met schuine zitting met kogelomloopspindel verplaatst de pendelschijf op een bijzonder hoge snelheid van 6 mm/s naar de gewenste eindpositie. Hierbij wordt quasi zonder vertraging op processignalen gereageerd. Indien nodig kan bij het uitvallen van energie via optionele energieopslag naar de veiligheidspositie worden gegaan. Elektromotorische aandrijving en blokkeerklep bezitten een perfect op elkaar afgestemd, gesloten design met een robuust oppervlak. Dit staat garant voor de hygiënische eisen van snelle reinigbaarheid zonder residuen. Ruige omgevingscondities zijn voor de elektromotorische klep met schuine zitting van het type 3320 geen probleem door de beveiligingsklasse IP65/IP67 en de grote ongevoeligheid voor stoten en trillingen. Door de beproefde, zichzelf bijstellende spindelpakking met verwisselbare dakmanchetten worden door de klep met schuine zitting een zeer lange levensduur en dichtheid bereikt. De voor veldbus geschikte afsluiter van het type 3320 biedt de gebruiker veel nuttige functies m.b.t. procesbewaking, klepdiagnose en preventief onderhoud en daardoor het beslissende voordeel van een moderne procesautomatisering.
